Roderick Tanner QC gives law students Olufemi Hassan and Charlotte Holroyd a bundle of papers, emails and messages for them to go through. There is a client in prison for murder, a murder they are believed to be innocent of.
The real killer can be found within this bundle of papers, papers that the reader has too, offering the opportunity to identify the killer alongside Femi and Charlotte. Set in the small town of Lockwood, the story centres on the Fairway Players, a local theatre group whose community is in mourning when their star performer’s granddaughter is diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
A fundraising appeal brings the community together – but not everything is as it seems. Told entirely through documents, texts, and emails, this innovative debut mystery keeps readers guessing until the final page.
